About the Opportunity

Capilano Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team in North Vancouver. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Department in maximizing all lead funnel opportunities by enhancing closing ratios, gross profit, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction as part of a consistently-managed sales process.
  • Lead the prospecting apparatus in Customer Retention and Service Drive using tools such as AutoAlert to seek for incremental new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular trade appraisals to help win car deals, make vehicle buy-in offers, and in support of the prospecting apparatus identified above.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with dealership goals.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including inventory management, sales forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Foster a customer-centric environment to maximize satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate and finalize vehicle sales, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and dealership policies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and new product launches.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of automotive sales management experience is required.
  • Prior experience working for Volkswagen, Audi, or Porsche is preferred.
  • Fluency in a second language such as Mandarin or Farsi is preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with sales management tools and CRM systems such as: AutoAlert, vAuto, Tekion, Rapid Recon and CDK/One-Eighty is highly-preferred.
  • Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving abstract, and a valid VSA license.
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure, and to motivate members of the Sales Team to consistently follow-up with customers, abide by established dealership processes, and prospect for repeat business opportunities in the Service Drive.
  • Must have strong quantitative skills, can analyze and interpret data trends/reports, and can operate a computer and utilize various software programs with ease!

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
